Ginny Fraser from the UK was diagnosed with Stage IV melanoma in 2001. Her prognosis was somewhat gloomy: Doctors gave her six months to live. She healed herself against the odds using a naturopathic treatment plan. She now writes about for icon magazine, and last year her book “Overcoming Cancer: 24 True Stories of Triumph and Hope” was published. Fraser is also qualified to coach people who have had a cancer diagnosis.

Fraser had three bouts of melanoma. She had tried nutrition and enemas but these were not enough to stop her cancer coming back. Ginny found a naturopathic oncologist who put her on a strict regime with up to 122 supplements a day, as well as juices and enemas. She also had radiotherapy to her brain.

The tumors responded well and started to rapidly decrease in size. By the next year (2002) she was clear of any cancer. Ginny also worked through old emotional patterns and beliefs, which really helped her. She says she asked for and received all kinds of spiritual help, including being prayed for by people of all faiths and traditions.

Although it may sound like a cliché, said Ginny, she found a “massive blessing in facing and recovering from cancer. To look at death as a real (even likely) possibility and emerge from that meeting to live another day is a profound experience not many of us get, but for which I am hugely grateful.”
