119998253As the world of cancer Treatment continues to evolve, we are coming closer to being able to beat cancers such as lung cancer, prostate cancer and breast cancer. New research released this month shows that cancer immunotherapy, a method where our own immune system is boosted via drugs, could hold the key to fighting tumor cells.

The study, conducted in Britain, looked at the benefits of boosting a patient’s T-cells ( a form of white blood cell) to help them to kill cancer cells. Researchers from the Medical Council’s Laboratory of molecular Biology in Cambridge, UK, say that the conventional approach to cancer treatment involves 3 methods: slice (surgery), poison (chemotherapy) and burn (radiotherapy).

Immunotherapy focuses on helping the body to actually cure cancer. The investigation is based around a new technology that focuses on T-cell receptors, the protein that allows T-cells to bind to threats, in this case cancer. By reprogramming T-cells to better identify and effectively destroy cancer cells, researchers believe that they will, in the future, be able to manipulate a cancer patient’s own immune system to beat cancer.

Boosting Immunity With Bio-Immune Cellular Therapy

At Alternative Cancer Treatment Mexico we have long since moved away from the “slice, poison and burn” approach to cancer treatment that is usually adopted. We believe that by identifying key factors in each individual’s cancer development and diagnosis, we can restore cellular health. We boost the body’s natural immunity and, finally, educate special T-cells to identify threats such as cancer, and destroy them without harming healthy tissue.

This therapy is the most advanced of its kind and helps patients to beat cancer, naturally. By extracting and manipulating white blood cells we significantly increase survival rates, even for patients with late stage or secondary cancer. Depending on the type and stage of the cancer we treat dendritic, Natural Killer Cells and CD34 (or a combination thereof) to identify and target cancer cells.

Dendritic Cell Therapy

Dendritic Cell (DC) therapy is an immunotherapeutic approach for treatment of advanced cancer and prevention of secondary cancer.  We treat a patient’s dendrites to encourage the patient’s immune system to produce antigens which help fight cancer.

Dendritic Cell therapy has reported success even in stage IV cancer patients who have failed all other therapies.

Dendritic cells and Cancer

Dendritic Cell approach to cancer therapy takes advantage of the normal role of the dendritic cell as an immune educator. Dendritic cells grab antigens from viruses, bacteria, or other organisms and wave them at T cells to recruit their help in an initial T cell immune response.

This works well against foreign cells that enter the body, but cancer cells often evade the self/non-self-detection system, which allows the immune system to identify its own cells and prevents it from attacking itself.

By modifying dendritic cells we trigger a special kind of autoimmune response that includes a T cell attack on the cancer cells.

Natural Killer Cells

NK cells are a type of cytotoxic lymphocyte that is an important part of the immune system. NK cells play a major role in the ridding the body of cancer cells and cells infected by viruses. They kill cells by releasing small cytoplasmic granules of proteins called perforin and granzyme that cause the target cell to die by apoptosis.

Natural killer (NK) cells have been a focus of immunology research for twenty years. In this time a we have learnt a lot about how these cells work. They play a key role in the body’s defense mechanism and in adapting immune response to threats. In addition, they can act as immuno-regulatory cells.

As researchers and scientists persevere in finding effective cancer cures, we at Alternative Cancer Treatment Mexico continue to develop our Functional Oncology Program to be its most effective, for each patient on an individual basis. We are proud to be pioneers in the world of and our survival rates are testimony to the effectiveness of our programs.
